Comment by Orbalgus If you're in your low-seventies it can be hard to gather this herb, since it's really only commonly found in Sholazar to my knowledge. One of the best ways I've found to farm it when you're low-level is along the west-east road between Kartak's Hold and the Waygate. When you first get there you'll be neutral with both factions Oracles and Frenzyheart , so you can run near them without issue, and so long as you keep away from the cats to the west and the bugs to the east, there are no aggro mobs along that stretch of the road.

As well - and obviously, most importantly - there are about ten or so fairly quick spawns of Adder's Tongue on this route, as well as some Gold Clover. I managed about three stacks of Adder's Tongue in about twenty to thirty minutes doing this.

Not amazing, no doubt, but great for those low-level farming needs. Comment by Sholazar and Storm Peaks are the best place to be getting Northrend herbs if you're level Sholazar has very fast respawn times and I can gather 10 Frost Lotus before I get too bored and quit - and that includes filling all my herb bags with goldclover, adder's tongue, and tiger lily. These places aren't as easy as the Sholazar rotation, but just as good when you've got a system.

Each zone was timed 30 minutes per route. As mentioned previously, this is the only zone where you can farm Adder's Tongue.

The respawn rate is around minutes, so you don't have to circle around the whole zone. I included two farming routes just in case someone else is farming in the zone. The first map is a lot better than the second one. This herb is used a lot by players with Inscription who want to find level pigment through milling. It sells best in stacks of 10 and 20 for as much as gold a stack.

Check the prices on your realm before you head to Northrend to farm this stuff. You will need level herbalism and a level 75 or higher character. An epic flying mount is preferably but not necessary.
