How many prime are there in transformer

Each of these became something different in the telling and from there on other alternate realities came to be such as the live action movies.

I am now going to list all the primes that we know of in chronological order. I also note that in several of the universes that the planet Cybertron has now been established as the body of one of the biggest transformers ever known as Primus who created all the transformers from his body and the Prime name is taken from the creator. Other Primes beings with names that include part of prime that got thrown out or put into one alternate universe or another.

One thing to note is that Primes have a hollow compartment in their chests to contain The Autobot Matrix of Leadership also known as the Creation Matrix or rarely, the Autobot Matrix of Power or the Matrix of Light is an artifact of great power, traditionally carried by the leader of the Autobots.

So this is where I end this, but Optimus Prime has and will always be a central figure in Transformers no matter what alternate universe he is in or how many toys are created. The weirdest alt modes for our bot Optimus imo were a dinosaur in Rescue Bots and a shinkansen train in Transformers GO!

Amalgamous prime is the only Prime in this list with not just one but two weapons. He also has a shape-shifting Scythe that can change form and mimics his malleable nature. The Prime later founded the Shifters. Alchemist Prime is the only Prime from the Original Thirteen who is said to be still alive within the Transformers continuity.

He can see the farthest and deepest than any other primes thanks to his Lenses. He is also an avid drinker and an alcoholic. In other words, he was destined to be evil. He is called the Prime of Lies.

His weapon is called the Liegian Dart, a projectile that contained toxins that could incapacitate any foe forever once they entered the body. Vector Prime is the master of space and time.

Through the use of his lades of Time, he can manipulate the fabric of space-time and bend them to his will. Unlike their name-sake, the Blades of Time are not weapons. It resembles a mandala or hourglass which can be used to move to and fro in time. From what we know, Solus Prime tried to create another such artifact with similar abilities, showing that the Blades of Time could be replicated.

Onyx Prime is the first Beat Form Cybertronian. He is known to be very spiritual and cryptic in his ways. Called the Lord of the Beasts, Onyx Prime can remain in perfect harmony and synchronization with both the real as well as the spirit world.

The artifact in his possession is called the three faced Triptych Mask. The mask can only be used by him, giving him the ability to see every being in the living universe as well as the after-life. It is a homage to the Victory 's main character, who shares the same name, as well as the identically named weapon from Transformers: Armada.

In Transformers: Prime The blade was destroyed by Megatron's Dark Star Saber, though the hilt remained with the Autobots, until they used the Forge of Solus Prime to restore the blade to its former glory. Optimus used it briefly before it was taken by the Decepticons from the rubble of the Autobots' destroyed base and placed aboard the Nemesis as a trophy. The Autobots later recovered it, and it was used by Bumblebee to kill Megatron; Optimus later used it in the ceremony elevating Bumblebee to warrior class, and it presumably remained in the Autobots' keeping on Cybertron.

In Transformers: Timelines , the Star Saber was entrusted to Nexus Prime, who set out to find it after reuniting all his components and regaining his lost identity. The Matrix of Leadership. A talisman that was originally stored in the hilt of the Star Saber. As its name suggests, it is a symbol of leadership, and is passed down to new leaders of the Autobots , the Transformers' franchise's main protagonists.

Holds the collective wisdom of the Primes but did not receive its name from them. Grants access to Vector Sigma , a supercomputer created by the Primes that serves as a repository for their combined knowledge and wisdom.

In Transformers: Prime , the Key can be used to copy this information and reload it into the Matrix if it is ever emptied, as when Optimus used its power to defeat Unicron. In the Generation 1 continuity-which included Beast Machines -the Key to Vector Sigma was a necessary component to giving life to Transformers through the medium of Vector Sigma. It also possessed the power to drain energy from matter and convert it into metal, a property used by the original Megatron and Tankor.

It has enough power-which it draws from black holes, stars, and other forces-to destroy entire mountains and reduce them to ashes. After creating it, Solus called for a vote on whether or not it should be destroyed, as she feared its corrupting influence and destructive power. A vote of seven to six resulted in its preservation, and Solus subsequently expressed confidence in Megatronus' ability to use it without falling victim to it.

After it was used in the battle against Unicron and in the War of the Primes, the Fallen lost it to his former brothers, who sent it into space where its gravity attracted space junk. This resulted in the creation of the planetoid known as Junkion , which was later broken up when the Decepticons learned of the Blaster and extracted it. They were forced to jettison it, and it became a target of the Star Seeker pirates. It's abilities to draw power from stellar phenomena may have been inspired by Megatron's G1 biography.

The Requiem Blaster appeared in Transformers Armada as one of three weapons composed of three Mini-Cons joining together, and was essential to the restoration of Unicron.

A device broken into pieces and spread across the universe by Nexus Prime. Each of the pieces were carried by the individual parts of Nexus, who also served as their protectors.

Together, the Blades of Time have the power to open portals in time and space, allowing Vector Prime or others to cross vast distances or travel between dimensions. He left it behind upon deciding to leave the main universe, and in Transformers: Exiles, Optimus Prime uses the Blades to visit Vector Prime's pocket dimension.

A digital book in which Alpha Trion writes down past, present and future events. The Covenant first appeared in the Beast Wars two-part episode "Nemesis". The real-life book Transformers: Covenant of Primus is supposed to be a translated version of the fictional book, translated for "human audiences" by Alpha Trion.

Used by Alpha Trion to write down things in the Covenant of Primus. Can be used to affect future events, however because the flow of timeline is always changing these events do not always last. Nova Major and Alpha Trion were left as the last two standing during a brutal battle, which they ended up surviving. It was after that when Nova Major expressed interest in becoming a Prime, and Trion passed the mantle to him. Nova Prime's ultimate goal was to build a united structure for Cybertron where everyone remained in their place.

It seemed legit at the time, I'll give him that. As Nova Prime got into the rhythm of being a Prime, others started to notice that some of his ideals were a bit off. He devoutly followed the god known as the Guiding Hand, and he found some documents written by that god itself. One statement stuck in his mind: "all shall be one. Nova Prime was a massive and powerful Transformer, and he believed that his race was superior to all others, and people should be grateful just to gaze on their magnificence.

If you thought that there could be no greater Autobot than Optimus Prime, think again. Contrary to what your first instinct would be, Optimus Primal and Optimus Prime are not the same person. Optimus Primal serves as the leader of the Maximals many years in the future, and has a lot of different traits than the Autobot he was named after.

For instance, while he respects the rules of the Maximals, he tends to find some workarounds on some occasions. He feels that the greater good can allow for some bending of structure, but this has led to some of his best decisions. Optimus Primal is known to often put himself on the line in the heat of battle to save his friends. If he fails or loses a partner, he takes the loss personally. Despite his youthfulness, Optimus Primal managed to launch Cybertron into a new advanced age, which gained him a lot of respect from his subordinates.

In battle, Optimus Primal reworked his body to transform into a gorilla that is stated to be the size of King Kong. He also has a host of deadly missiles that sit in his shoulders. While the name might be a bit of a tongue twister, don't let it stop you from appreciating the power of Primal Prime. Years in the future, the alien species known as the Vok decided to create an entirely new Autobot to fight against the forces of darkness. They took the Matrix of Leadership and a few other objects to build the being known as Primal Prime.

Being programmed with the Matrix, Primal held all of the wisdom of each of the Primes that came before him, and became one of the most powerful Transformers to date. Primal Prime became a huge source of conflict with the Tarantulas stole the Matrix, but the Vok counteracted this by taking control of Primal Prime themselves.

Primal Prime's immense power was able to defeat the Tarantulas and restore the Matrix in an unpublished comic.

Because of Primal's design, he garnered a lot of attention from the public eye, despite having no desire to become a celebrity. However, all of the events surrounding Primal Prime don't change the fact that he is essentially a one-man army. He can take out whomever he wants with however much force he desires.

The original Thirteen were great and all, but they were not created at the same time. Somebody had to come first, and that someone was Prima. He was assigned to lead the Thirteen into battle and protect the planet of Cybertron. Prima and his brothers were given the ability to transform so that one day they would be able to battle and defeat the dastardly Unicron.

Due to the nature of his name, Prima is often cited as the first Prime to ever exist. Prima was no pushover either. He fought for the concept of good itself, feeling that freedom and nobility should be available to all. He wields the Star Saber, which enabled him to combat even the toughest of enemies.

When everything went downhill, Prima chose to stay on Cybertron and fulfill his original duty to protect it. However, Prima faced great opposition as the Decepticons rose to power. When the Predacons emerged from an event, it was up to Prima to defeat them. He ended up fighting one on one against the voracious Predaking. Despite the latter's amazing power and instinct, Prima still managed to come out on top and forced the Decepticon to submit.

This is where things start to get a bit confusing. It is clear that Prima was the first created Autobot, but as the Transformers cartoon states, there was somebody that predated Prima. This being was known as Primon, and he is the first Autobot that there is record of, though we're not sure how that can be. Some people theorize that he was an entity that is older than the creation of Cybertron itself, but that brings loads of theological questions that are probably too complicated to discuss here.
